I like to keep my engine compartment clean as it is a whole lot more enjoyable wrenching on a clean engine, and not having loads of grease and dirt fall on your face when you implement the use of a BFH underneath your engine. Anyways, I've always pressure washed my engines in the past, at a safe distance not to force water where it shouldn't be. But on my 5vz-fe it has always had a problem with getting water into the spark plub tubes causing it to ground out and run like crap. And it doesn't take but a few drops for this to occur. So on to my question:

I'm thinking I will seal the rubber boot of my spark plugs with some hi-temp gasket sealer after I change my spark plugs coming up. It is such a hassle being at the car wash and not having any air to blow down there.

Anyone see anything wrong with this idea?
