My clock spring is making a gritty rubbing noise when turning the wheel. Tried spraying some electrical cleaner in the rotating mechanism cuz it kinda sounds like there’s dirt in there or something, but it didn’t help much.
I’m seeing a wide range of prices on replacement springs $40-$200. Does anyone have any thoughts on which brands are a good bang for the buck and/or others thoughts on getting rid of the noise?

Thanks!

No experience with any specific brands. The usual "you get what you pay for" would apply. I think replacement is about your only option as I don't believe its a serviceable part.
