kinda OT

i bought a code reader to try to fix a problem in my in-laws car ('00 buick century) and am getting the following codes.

P0102 Mass or Volume Circuit Low Input
P0131 02 Sensor Circuit Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

Any ideas? Maybe the 02 Sensor is bad?

Background: Mother in law took it on a short trip (about 100 miles) for the day, ran fine all the way there. 3/4 way stopped to fuel up. No problems yet. At lunch went to wal-mrt to get some items, wouldnt go above 40mph. After done shopping wouldnt fire up. Would turn over, would backfire, would idle 2-3 seconds and die from time to time. I drove up and trailered it home. Since then replaced the fuel filter (it will idle now and drive very slowly) When you give it gas it dies immediately. Makes a sound like it is gasping for air. Air filter is new, no blockage. Ideas? Thanks guys

plugs are my next idea. Just baffles me that last night after changing the filter it cranked right up. Ran it 5 miles up the road and back. I got up to 90 at one point but it had to be a very gradual run, if you got on the gas it would suffocate and die out. Thats what made me think the o2 sensor might be bad. Telling it there isnt enough oxygen getting to it.

sounds like water in tank
Let the vehicle sit overnight on level ground, then pop the filter input line and fill a 2 liter coke bottle 1/2 way.. if it has water it will settle in a few minutes.

My guess is a...MAF Sensor??....the misfire is only being caused because of bad combustion with the air/fuel mixture wacky...

My tacoma was doing the exact same thing...lean bank 1...O2 before the cat...and finally i fixed it by replacing the MAF Sensor.
