Im interested in upgrading the suspenion on my 03 taco,its a daily driver.only thing holding me back is can they(Donahoes or Cambergs) Last Canadian winters in Northern Ontario
would they have to be recharged every year.
How long do they last before needing to be worked on?

its not like a battery. they don't need to be recharged unless you get them re-valved or rebuilt. what dose wear out if the valving, just like any shock. as for handling weather, they will corrode and oxidize.

What i ment by recharged is if they were nitrogen-charged,
Im worried about slow leaks at -25 temperatures.How many miles do coilovers get before they need to be revalved?
Can oil spraying them for protection from salted roads cause any damage?

When its really frikn cold, I dont run the truck hard.
from what i've been searching, I see a set of Donahoes in the near future.I think they will suit my driving stile.
Just interested in hearing how they handle the cold before i purchase them.

I have read that people that live in very cold areas have ordered their Donahoe coilovers with a special weather resistant coating. Im not sure on cost so give them a call. http://www.donahoeracing.com/
