I have 96 Tacoma, I have a cold start issue every morning, I have to feather the throttle to keep it running for about a minute then the idle will increase like it should. Then the rest of the day no problems. It runs great no stalling or missing at all. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. It is 2.7L 5 speed 4x4.

How long has it been doing this for? Is it a recent thing?

Could be ethanol related or possibly from the switchover to winter-blend gas which happened nationwide in the past week or 2.

As Showstop mentioned, IAC would be a prime candidate as well.

Does it only happen when it's cold outside and you cold-start the truck, or will it still happen if it's been sitting all night and you go to start it in 65 degree temperatures?
