Hi did some searching could not find anything. Has anyone converted the narrow band o2 sensor in a 4Runner to the newer wide band sensors. not sure if that is even doable

You would have to run a 01-02 4runner ECU, re-wire the harness, etc. etc. Would likely have to replace the engine wiring harness and adapt it to your body harness. Swap a 01-02 MAF / intake, TPS (possibly), etc.

What are you looking to do with it?

I just thought I'd get better fuel mileage. I didn't think it would be easy

Nah, fuel mileage will be the same.
a narrowband works best at 14.7, where you get the best mileage, so a wideband will not give your computer better info when at stoich (which is where you get your best mileage).
Do you have a good tune on your URD kit?
