Ok ...bought a 2001 Black TRD Tacoma ExtraCab SR5 from my brother with 66K on it and joined up with the Colorado Chapter.

In 1 month here's what my girlfriend and I have done:

1) Switzerland Trail, Boulder CO with some of the COTTORA guys
2) Rampart Range Road, Colorado Springs CO.
3) Willow Flats, Arches NP Utah.
4) Gemini Bridges, Canyonlands NP Utah.

Got 70K on it now ....

What part of Castle Rock? I live over in Plum Creek. The wife and I run Rampart/Mt. Herman/Dakkan roads quite frequently. Not real challenging, but close to home. Your truck got any distinguishing characteristics so I know who to wave at? Mine is a black '02 x-cab, TRD. Other info is in my sig, but the most distinguishing stuff on my truck is in the bed.

Yeah there's a few guys from the Castle Rock area posting in these forums.....we should all get something going. Do you post on the COTTORA forums?

As for where in Castle Rock we live, unfortunately in an apartment complex right now, I'm looking for work.

I've got a CB antenna on the roof, Black truck, with a blue bumper sticker on the back bumper that reads " Keep Tahoe Blue " ... which basically amounts to nothing ..LOL.

Once I get a job ....things will change, I've got a few ideas.

Occasionally post on the Colorado board. Unfortunately, I always seem to have schedule conflicts with group events. I do have a garage and tools though if you ever need place to wrench. Welcome to the group.

Know anything about CB's? Mine isn't tuned properly and I don't want to buy an SWR meter. It just has too much static both transmitting and receiving.

Any advice would help ....thanks man.
