I just got an "01" Tacoma 4x4 standard Cab.

My Vin looks like this: 5TEPM62N81Z + the production #

My build looks like this: C/TR 209/FZ10 A/TM B07A/W59

I especially want to know about my rear, I want to know everything about it. The size, the gear ratio, the number of pinions, I want to know it's qwerks, It's positives, etc. etc. I want to become one with the rear. I have searched high and low and only have more questions.

You guys are f***ing awesome! I am sure I would have a beer with all of you! Thanks for your help in advance!

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

If you click on drive train, then gears, then axle ratios. Then read the following.

"The most accurate axle/model chart to date. To get your axle ratio from the model code, look at your tag on the inside of your door jam. You will see a 10 digit alphanumeric code. The code will start with VZ if you have a V6, and RZ if you have the 2.7L. It seems the tire size listed on the inside of the door jam is irrelevant as many people's trucks come with 31" or 265's from the factory but have the 225 size listed on the door. Just go with the tires your truck came with from the dealer unless you know for a fact the tires/rims were changed by you or the dealer."

I got it thanks! RZN161L-TRMDKAB code says 225/75/15, but I have 16x7 wheels.

I read the caption at top, no need to explain it to me. I'm drinking, I'm drinking. Sometimes I just need someone to break it down for me Barney style.

It came with 265/70/16's and 16x7rims. Still has the same P.O.S tires from the factory.
