Title basically sums it up. Other day cruies and horn were working properly and now they aren't. Horn fuse is ok and I can't find a cruise control fuse.
Horn won't beep and cruise light on inst panel won't come on. All other elec switches on column work(wipers, turn signals)

Are these two systems related at all?

When did you put the body lift on? If you got your steering wheel one rotation off, the wires inside are not long enough and will break, taking out.......you guessed it, your horn and cruise. It could be something totally unrelated, but I have heard from several members that this happened after a body lift with a steering extension.

Bl has been on for 2.5 years BUT I did adjust my steering extension bout two weeks ago ( had steering linkage all the way to the rag joint dissassembled) and I guess i could have overrotated the wheel by accident. Are the culprit wires easy to spot aside form the obvious ripped apart look?

Ive never seen it myself, but from what I understand, it requires a new $80.00 harness from Toyota to repair because of the special ends on them.
Sorry, maybe someone who's done it will post up.
