My cruise has been acting up lately. Usually when it is engaged and you pull back on the lever it suspends the cruise control until you reset it or hit resume. Lately though I have had to pull back about 6 or 8 times on the lever before it works. Every thing else works fine. Any one have any ideas?

You mean it does not disengage. Wow!! They go through all kinds of pains in the design to make sure it drops out easy enough. Does it disengage with the brake pedal? How many miles you got on the thing? If it's under warranty take it to the dealer and they should be all ass holes and elbows getting on it as it's a safety thing.

It must be a bad switch or spiral cable in the steering wheel.
I'm with Dick.

I suck at electrical, so I found a good electrical mechanic; he diagosed it, I replaced it.

And that's what I suggest you do. Get it diagnosed.

If I remember, $200 bucks. If you've never pulled the steering wheel before, plan on 1 1/2 hours. Haynes manual is great. Lay your air bag face up when you take it out.
