Just trying to guage some interest in a custom Aquamist tank similar to the one I have on my truck (see pics in webshots link in my sig). No commitment---just want to see how many might be interested. Don't know costs yet. Depends on how many we are talking about. Let me know here or PM please.

how many miles does a gallon typically last? Do you have some kind of guage hooked up to let you know when it gets low>
I don't really know to tell you the truth. It solely depends on how often and how long you stay in boost. I have my Aquamist to come on at 5 lbs of boost. (I run at 9.5 with the 2.2" pulley) I took a 900 mile trip the other day and in the middle of that had a long tuning session. You know with a fresh tune I am going to play on the way back. I got home with half a tank left. I used to carry extra water but with this tank I don't bother any more. I have a low level switch with a led warning light in the boost guage pod on mine.

nice job! but the stock washer tanks are about 2 gallons - any chance of building one a bit bigger?

Are you sure about the capacity of the washer fluid tank? I was told it holds a gallon. I can't find the specs anywhere. Doesn't matter. I have found that the capacity of the WI tank is plenty for me. As I said above, I don't carry extra water anymore. There is not a lot of room in the engine bay for a larger tank without it interfering with other systems. One lady I talked to put a 12 gallon fuel cell in the back of her 4Runner for her WI.

Is the 269 HP run with Water Injection? Any Idea what HP you got without?

Thanks!
Yes, that run was with the WI using straight distilled water. I now use a 60/40 water/methanol mix. No, I don't have a run with the WI isolated. I'm going back to dyno tomorrow but I'll be running a little over 11 lbs of boost and I don't want to run that way without the water injection.

Is that with the 2" pulley from VHR? Have you had it for long? Do you feel it slipping?

No, that is a 2" pulley from URD. They have 2.2, 2.1, and 2.0 supergrip pulleys now. I guess I've had it for 2 months. I haven't noticed it slipping yet. I don't use that pulley for the street though. I use it for max dyno runs and the drag strip.

They do? Cool, where is my credit card,... oh wait first I need to install the WI and buy an EGT gauge. So what can you tell me about that custom tank? PM me with the info on where I can get one of those. Thanks

OK guys. URD is the company that is going to produce the tanks. I was just trying to see how much interest there was so Gadget would have some idea. Instead of making the tanks myself, I felt URD would be able to get the tanks fabbed up for you with the best quality and price. I gave all rights to URD and did not ask for monetary gains. Those guys have been great help in the buildup of my truck and I just wanted to try and give something back. I will make this same post on CT so some of you will see it twice.
