I am going to fab my own front and rear bumpers but I would like to see some pictures to get some ideas. I have seen this question before but I cannot find it. Perhaps this should be stickied. Post pictures here or send them to [email protected].

While you're waiting for more replies, check out the member's rigs photos, and PM the owners of the ones you like if you have questions. Maybe give 'em the link to this thread, too.

Hey liltoy,
Check out my rear bumper. It was not that hard to build, just about a week with planning, buying parts, and fabbing up.

I chose the ugly but functional approach.

Thier functionality, and simplicity makes them beautiful. I'd considered square tube for my bumper, and had the plans all drawn up, and then went with round since it was free.

custom bumper

I have recently built a front bumper for my '99 4Runner that tucks the winch up inside the front grill, increasing my approach angle. There are 6 bolts per frame rail holding the bumper on, which ensure the bumper will not come off during a winch procedure.
