Need a custom pitman arm with a hole ceter to center of 5 3/4" and 3/4" to 1" max drop with tapper for a chevy TRE. Any recommendations? Waiting for a reply from C & R motorsporsts out in Cali. Cut and mocked up a flat one from Sky which is where we are getting the measurements. Please help

Thanks

I don't know for sure if these guys can help or not, but they set up my steering needs for me, including taking my stock pitman and tig welding the taper in it for me. Best welding job I have ever seen.

They maybe able to help you

sounds like you may be in need of a daihatsu Rocky pitman arm. I found mine at the pick-n-pull for $10.99 :D . Any way it is dang close to 5 3/4" hole to hole, but I am not sure it has enough drop for you. It looks like it has about 3/4" drop at the max but maybe closer to 1/2". Any way they come with a ball joint thing like a toyota pitman arm. I just cut that piece out and used a chevy tre insert for a toyota arm. It took some manipulation but it fit. Oh ya the spline count and taper on the daihatsu arm is the same as a toyota pitman arm except the daihatsu arm has a "keyed" section where two splines are joined as one. I just took a sawzall to mine and cut the missing spline and it slid on like it was supposed to be there. HEre are some pics, sorry I don't have any pics while I was modifying it though.

I got a landcruiser arm from parts mike that was machined to fit GM tie rod ends without using an insert. Give him a call he is very knowledgeable when it comes to stuff like that.
