Any problems with accuracy at different speeds?
any problems with the speedo going 'wacho' at times.
price you paid?
how hard to install?

I bought one a few years ago when I installed my 32's. The install was simple, I used a writeup I found online, but have since lost lthe link. All you do to hook it into the speedo circuit is cut the wire cominf from the speed sensor on the tranny (green i think), run it to the unit, then to the other end of the wire. Then it is a simple matter of power and ground. I can get it pretty close to accurate, but I am not using any real method of testing (just those speec sheckers that the cops put out). Sometimes when I am not really moving, the speedo jumps up, then goes down, but it really isnt a big deal. If I remember, I paid somewher ein the neighborhood of 80 bucks. It is well worth the money i think. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

cool, thanks. I've gotten pretty close with swapping speedo drive gears but I'm still 3% off.

is it the SGI-7?

So i'm guessing only difference in the SGI-7 from the one in the link SGI-5 is the abilitly to store two ratios instead of just one in case you want to do seasonal tire changes of two unlike tire sizes...or if you had 33's for the road and 35's for muddin...correct? I think i'll save the 20 bucks if this is the only difference.

Hmm, good question. I noticed that the sgi-5 can't be used with ABS.

This issue came up before, and it was determined that the SGI-5 works just fine with ABS, they just don't want to say that for liability reasons.

Actually from what the instruction manual says, it is the SGI-5, so I hope I actually got the right one! But it does work. However, I just went to their website, and mine must be an older modelr because it looks diffeent than the current sgi-5 B model they have. It is actually the same as the sgi-7 picture (it says sgi-5 on it) but I gues I dont have the dual input options. But I am not really sure of the difference because with the example they give of just changin gears because most of us have dome both tires and gears. all it does is either retard or accellerate the signal how I have it installed.

mine seems pretty consistent across speeds. within couple MPH. I used a GPS to cal the unit. On the tranny plug I ran the signal wire and pulled the power and ground from there also and its easy. jsut ran the 3 cables into the cab. never noticed the speedo go whacky. paid 'bout $80 shipped.
