So I spent all last Sunday ripping apart the front end on my wife's 94 FZJ80, replacing a birfield, changing seals and repacking everything, and low and behold, the differential seal is leaking. Now i'm forced to tear down everything again so that I can pull the thrid member and replace that seal. Agggghhhhh

Hopefully I can borrow my buddies lift again, I can't imagine doing all that work laying down on my back in the driveway.

Maybe I should just sell it and get a new one?

I actually live over in New Kent. I just put Richmond because no one would know where the heck 'New Kent' was.

I gotta do my birfs sometime real soon, I am dreading it.

Does your 80 have the rear-main/arch seal leak also?

No leak yet. Hopefully it does not come soon. Good luck on the repack. It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it. I'm helping a buddy out this weekend with his.

Enjoy.
