Did you already take off the piece under the black part. I am talking about the one with the aux power outlets. A pushpin on each side holds it in. Other than that, just push down on the bottom of the black piece and pull it at the same time.gtrguy13 said:

Hey all,
I am currently tring to pull my stereo out (pineer dh-4600mp) in order to connect up an aux adapter to the back. I didnt install the deck myself the first time so this is my first time taking apart the dash. I have all the knobs and that plate off and all 4 screws. Now i got the black housing part most of the way off but it snags at the bottom by the ash tray and the lighter. I have the ash tray out. I was gettin the info from the custom tacos site but it doenst say anthing about this. anyone know how to fully get that part off in order to get to the stereo pieces?
