Ok... So this guy at work today was joking around and decided to do a barrel roll across my hood as I pulled into the work parking lot.

The end result was a medium sized dent, and a smaller dent, on the hood.

Could I pop those out pretty easily? They didn't crease from what I could tell, and since I'm trying to get my truck sold this wasn't the best of things to happen.

I'd rather just pop them out without having to get it fixed, and him pay for it if it isn't necessary.

Don't have any pics because it was dark by the time I got off... but they're right in the middle of the hood.

Sorry to disappoint some of you by this not being a trail carnage thread. :D

ouchh!

I would never have that on my truck. If I walked out and did see that.. I would make sure that the door had no paint left on it before I left the driveway. :)

Okay I missed something here, is there a thread with pics on this one Greg?

Oh and that sucks about the dents, but maybe a ruber mallet from underneath might do it, but then again maybe not. Wait for more ideas before you resort to my bad ones.

oops sorry for the hijack.

the dents should be able to pop out fairly easy, have you tried poping them out from the underside of the hood?

Not yet.. I had to get into work... I just left it.

Was dark when I came out and figured I'd wait until tomorrow when I got up to try anything.

try the dent remover kit from autozone or discount autoparts. i used it my truck and it works pretty good. can use mine if you'd like.

Make the dude fix the dents... oooohhh boy I would be pissssed.
Yeah.. I wasn't mad when it happened, but then after I started thinking about it I got a little mad.. but dudes pretty cool and was just joking around when he did the shit.. so as long as he'll pay for the 'ding king' I'm going to try and find tomorrow I've got no beef with him!

I got to get this shit straightened out tomorrow though... I'm supposed to meet a guy who is interested in buying it.

It's probably just the fact it's dirty, but now I can only see the one main dent.. and sometimes it's hard to spot. I'm not sure I'll be able to fix it.. look more or less like a flat spot..and not a dent that can be popped out.

But as I said.. tomorrow I'm going to AutoZone or Adv. Auto and see if they got something to pop out dents... hopefully it'll work ..and HOPEFULLY after I wash it tomorrow it won't stand out real bad if I can't get it popped out. I would just try to hit it from underneath the hood, but the bracing or whatever is in that area...
