I’m getting ck engine light & my mechanic said it’s indicating a “lean” condition. He said it’s nothing to worry about. His “motor” guy is out on medical leave so he doesn’t have anyone else who can dig deeper to determine the cause of said “lean” condition. I may go to another shop, but let me know what it might be.
Thanks,
Darren

No, they like to run rich. Either way, rich or lean condition is typically due to dirty or failing sensors. Mine runs slightly on the rich side even with MAF sensor cleaned and O2 sensor working in spec.
