230k miles, 01 taco. Passenger door lock is a pain, key won't turn without a minute of jiggling it. DS is fine, which was the one that has seen more use over the years. I dug up the original, unworn, spare key and same problem. I've tried spraying liquid and powder graphite in. Finally tried spraying a quick bit of throttle body cleaner. No luck. Sometimes it works flat out, but 99% of the time I have to jiggle the key for a while, been going on for a few years and not getting worse or better. Replacing the lock would probably be $.

You need to pull the lock cylinder and flush it out and relube it. I have the same issue with the gas cap lock.
