I'll let you know when I'm gonna be out that way. My inlaws live in Westerly. You're probably like an hour from there right?Pete said:I'm running a set with the 7-leaf Deavers. I'm East of you in RI, but if you're willing to drive you're welcome to go for a spin in my truck.
Yeah, that's what finally got me to really look into them. I wasn't gonna spend that kind of money if they were just gonna rust in the first winter.nees1212 said:Wait a few months and get his new ones. They're coming out with ones made of rust proof material for those of us in the midwest and northeast. I thought I read somewhere where they'll be $50 or $100 more than the current setup.
Definately! Maybe we'll have a M&G in the spring and maybe, just maybe we'll both actually be able to go and I would be able to check them out. Otherwise, I won't have the time to get away for a day to drive up there. Thanks tho. How old are they and how do you like the street ride? Do you kow if they come extended for use with 4" pro comp lift? Don't want to keep using the spacer.bb609 said:I'm running them. I'm in Nottingham, NH. Wanna see?
Where do you live? I get around quite a bit. I've had mine on for about a year and a half. This is their second winter and they are corroded some but not bad at all considering. Coming out of a 2000 4Runner, I replaced the TRD suspension first thing and it rides damned near as well as the 4Runner did. Definitely worth the money IMO. I know they tweak them somehow to give you an extra inch or so with custom upper arms but not sure how much. Email them on their sight? Or, check with Gary at Wheelers. He'll tell you what's up.Tufemup said:Definately! Maybe we'll have a M&G in the spring and maybe, just maybe we'll both actually be able to go and I would be able to check them out. I need to go to East Hartford one of these days soon. If you want to come by, I'll try to give you a heads up.Tufemup said:I'm in Cheshire CT near Waterbury. I'm waiting for the plated coilovers.
Yeah, that sounds good. Keep me posted. What do you do that you need to go to E. Hartford? I work in Rocky Hill which is about 15 minutes south of E. Hartford.bb609 said:I need to go to East Hartford one of these days soon. If you want to come by, I'll try to give you a heads up.
