I get 1 loud knock every time i pull into my driveway. the drive way is steep and I make a right turn into it so the front driver side extends and then compresses.

I recently replaced the driveaxles. And, the driverside ome shock (881) does not seat properly like the other side. when i put the bolt in, the hole is at a slight angle and I really had to drive it in (Unlike the other side). could this contribute to the problem?

also, I saw some coffee colored grease coming out of the lower ball joints when i had it all apart and tweeked to get the axle in. time to tear apart the ball joints? i got 78,000 miles on them.
