my brake cable runs over the leafs but i dont know that i really like it although i have seen another truck do this check out parksoffroad.com and go to the alcan install, this guy has the cable over as well but he has no block, my friend runs a 3 in aal and has the cable underneath the springs with no block, and right now im in the process of trying to rid this block, i dont really like it you can feel the axle wrap when you take off, if i had a s/c like i want i would probably slip a block and turn the diff, i've seen it happen with stacked blocks and its not pretty, but if you absolutely must i would say it probably wont hurt.99TanTaco said:what does everyone running blocks in the rear do to keep the parking brake cable off the leaf springs? I have OME rear spings and would like to add a 1" block
I am running 3" cough*blocks*cough99TanTaco said:I have OME 2.25" rear springs, the cable goes over top the springs now but touches. I am running 33-10.5-15 BFG's that rub slightly on the front edge of the rear fenders, I would like to add the 1" block to eliminate that problem
im not a fan of blocks so i would chop that even though i have some but am in the process of removing, oh and btw my brake cable dose touch w/ my setup. i dont know much about doing the shackles and how they work so i could really speak from that standpoint, all i know is that revolver shackles are sick.99TanTaco said:anybody have any thoughts ?
