exhaust question

this may sound a bit unusual and complicated, but im about to install the chromed header for my 2.7L and i already redid the exhaust. reason is not only for hp, but i just wanted to "clean it up" in general. before my old exhaust and my header right now looked like terracotta exhaust parts. and with the new header i really want to keep it clean, and my question is their a type of oil solution or coating material that can withstand high temps on my exhaust preventing mud from caking onto to it or corroding the welds possibly. i just hate rust
