I noticed that in the fuse box under the hood of my 02 tacoma, there is a space labled "fog". Is there a factory fog lamp option on an 02 tacoma, and if so are you able to get a factory fog lamp kit?

I'm not sure about there being fog lights offered on the 02s, but after market lamps will be cheaper, and work better. I am running Hella ff50 lights in my bumper, they were only $39 bucks and work great. My experience with the factory fog lamps have not impressed me at all.

never seen it or heard of it. I put some FF75's in the metal bumper. they work and look awesome.

Foglights were never a factory option in the 95-04 Tacomas- THe bumpers never had provisions for them-
Perhaps it wasa result of a shared fuse box with the 4 Runners or Tundras

I believe that fuse slot is for the 4Runner factory fog ligthts. Aftermarket lights are a better option. Plus, you can use any wiring configuration, light type and wattage you want if you build your own.

The 05 Tacoma factory fogs might be pretty good.

Thanks for the info everyone, I think a pair of ff75's is what I'll go with, they will be a good match to the Hella 500's that I already have.
