Well I've been pouring over this forum for about the last 7 months or so going back and forth about what to put on my truck, and waiting for the cash. Yesterday I finally just picked up the phone and called Xtreme Off-Road. I got SAWs up front and a complete OME rear suspension. I also got an extended brake line, new u-bolts and a greasable main spring eye pin from Wheelers. It should be in sometime next week. Once I get some good weather I'll put it on. I do have a question. I got a buddy who's going to help me with the rear end but we probably won't be able to do it for 3-4 weeks. Is it fine to install the SAWs, set at about 2", and ride it around with the stock rear end? If I do this should I wait until the rear is installed before I get an alignment or does the rear not matter when it comes to that?

thanks

Sweet man. I am saving up as we speak for a set of Donahoes. You should be alright with putting the SAW's on first, but you will have to wait for someone else to chime in about the alignment issue. Not sure on that one.

On the alignment:

The rear won't matter unless you are aligning the rear and doing a four wheel alignment, which you aren't.

Get it aligned eventually.
i drove my truck around with just the SAWs on for 400 miles...it should be ok if you don't do too much driving, unless you like your tires to wear unevenly

The quicker they wear unevenly the quicker I can tell the wife I need new ones! I still have the p.o.s. stock ones.

You'll be fine running 2" of lift up front with no lift in the rear. It may sit a little ass-low, but probably not too bad.
