4-Sale:98 Taco 4x4 5-sp 202K($3k)

Hello: My 58 year old mother is selling her 1998 Toyota Tacoma Standard Cab 4x4. Here's the specs:

1998
Toyota
Tacoma
4x4
2.7 Four Cylinder
Tan Color
5-speed
Manual locking hubs
Air Conditioning
Alloy Wheels
31x10.5x15 AT Tires (fair condition)
202,000 Miles
Runs Great!
Some minor body damage (door dings, small star in windshield, etc ...)
Interior needs to be steam cleaned (seats and floors are dirty)
Asking $3,000.00 (KBB Trade-In for "Fair Condition")

She is the original owner from new. She just bought a 2005 Subaru Outback Sport with Automatic Transmission because she can't drive stick anymore (long story short she has a problem with her feet, so she can no longer drive stick). I can confirm that the truck drives great and has had good regular maint. The only things that it needs is:

Front End Alignment
New Tires
Steam Cleaned inside
And that's it.

I live near Reading, PA in Morgantown and the Truck is with me. If I don't hear anything soon, I'm selling it to my Mechanic who wants it now.

Let me know (610) 360-0609 and my name is Mark Rubin

Thanks.

Yeah, it would make an excellent beater! I actually would like to keep it for myself, but I've got a 99 XtraCab Taco already, and my wife said NO MORE TRUCKS!

BTW, it's never been in an accident and has a crystal clear title.

Dayum man thats a good deal. You interested in meeting part way toward VA if so I will take it.

Where in VA are you? My mom lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and my brother lives in Laurel, MD (about 1/2 hour north of D.C.) so somewhere in Northern VA would be acceptable.

Let me know and thanks.

Update: I just had my mechanic look over the truck and here's what he found:

Needs Front-end alignment
Front brakes won't pass PA inspection (although they work fine)
Drivers front shock is leaking (bear in mind that the entire suspension is orig.)
He recommends that I replace the radiator hoses (they're original)
That's it!

Yesterday Morning (4/23/05) [email protected] purchased my mothers 1998 Tacoma. I just wanted to thank Mike for a easy and fair sale of the truck. I truly believe that she got a fair price and Mike got a truck that should give him several more years of reliable 4x4 service.

Thanks again Mike, I really appreciate your business and hope you give my Mom's truck a good home.

THANKS!
