...from time to time, especially in winter. Took some of the slack out of my cable yesterday, the ebrake has been fussy for the past 6 weeks, and after some winter wheeling the other day it was very fussy, so I figured it was time.

  • the return spring located on the actuating arm just under the cab was iced up,
  • the linkage arms at each drum were iced up,
  • I also followed the length of the cable, firewall back to the axle and worked it back and forth to unstick any frozen parts in the cable housing.
Those things along with the tensioning made for a happy ebrake.
