As long as we get 3-4 people interested this will happen saturday 7-25. Meet at 10:45am at New Belgium Brewery so we are able to get the free tour of their facility

So Far attendees:
Ike
Mr Doug
PigPen
Troy
Layton

Fort collins has several fairly closely spaced breweries that i think many here would enjoy touring. the big three are:

New Belgium
http://www.newbelgium.com/
They have free tours and tasting in their state of the are brewery. very busy on the weekends though so we would want to be there early.

Fort Collins Brewery
http://www.fortcollinsbrewery.com/
Free tours, have to pay for tasting

Odell's
http://www.odellbrewing.com/home.aspx
Have to pay for a sampler, but well worth it.

Then we could head to old town for some grub and good times.

Who would be interested, and what dates would you suggest?

I am interested for sure. We could shoot for this weekend, since it seems like everyone is recovering from WFTW. Though Troy and I will need to work on Ron one of those days.

We can start at Budweiser and end at Coopersmiths and go for broke ... LOL!

I am in ... I have been wanting to take the formal tour of New Belgium!

Saturday the 25th looks good.

Could, but that would add a decent drive in there. all the others are within about 2 miles of old town.

Layton has the prices at Odells correct. I cant remember what it cost for samplers at Ft Collins Brewery as it has been several years since i have been there but i know it is not much.

is there anyway to do this sunday? i'd love to go, but my mom's b-day is saturday...

i've always wanted to tour these breweries, and never had a good excuse to do so...

obviously if i'm the only one who saturday won't work for, no biggie - it'd be great if you could do it sunday tho!

Yeah, they are closed on sunday. That is why i am asking if people can make it this saturday. If a few people dont post up that it works for them today then we will have to pick a date in a month or so.

I should be in for this Saturday. I have a ton of things I should be doing instead, but hey, an afternoon drinking is a pretty good way to procrastinate
