I ripped this off from a guy on one of the bike forums. It's a list of titles that Fort Collins has been awarded by various sources:

#1 Best Place to Reinvent Your Life (AARP)
#1 Top Retirement Spot (Where to Retire)
#1 Best Place to Live (Money Magazine)
Ranked as one of the best places to live and do business (Forbes,
Kiplinger’s, Men’s Journal)
#1 town in the U.S. for entrepreneurs
One of America’s Dream Towns (Outside)
One of 18 Perfect Towns (Outside)
10th Best City to Have it (All A&E Network)
#6 Best Places to Raise Your Family (Frommer’s)
100 Best Communities for Young People (America’s Promise)
Governor’s Award for Downtown Excellence
Best Place to Raise a Family (Reader’s Digest)

So is the rest of the country. I've bean to most parts of the country in the last 3 years and northern Colorado is one of the best parts of this nation. I would still live in the area if I didn't have a free basement in Kansas.

I heard a rumor that downtown FoCo was what Main St. USA in Disneyland was modeled after. My Dad read that somewhere, but I have no idea how valid it is.

It's funny, I still get a warm fuzzy everytime I go to Fort Collins.

It's got so much to offer...awesome restaurants. I particularly like SueHiro for sushi downtown, and it's across the street from Elliot's Martini Bar, too.
In the next five years, FC will have two new music venues (at least one is an all-season enclosed ampitheater) and will rival the Denver music scene.
I fall in love with Ft. Collins all over again every time I go barhopping in the summer and find myself peeing on some backalley dumpster before getting a gyro at the streetside stand. Ahhh, good times.

What if we all pitched in, bought you a cardboard box and put it next to Jeremy's? We'll even get a super big box you can park your truck in!

It will probably be in the back alley of Elliots Martini Bar... :neener:
