Hey all -
I just ordered an OME kit for my 2001 ExtraCab...Found a really good price at www.ok4wd.com, $799 for the kit. Thats about $200 less than I've seen anywhere else, although they did manage to sell me a new bushing kit for another $50. The guy on the phone couldn't believe that price was listed on the web, but he gave it to me. Anybody in the market might want to check it out before they change their minds. They are in NJ, so shipping is probably faster for us east coasters.

Hasn't arrived yet, so I can't comment and service / completeness yet, but I will update later when it arrives.

What front springs come with that kit?

I dont remember what I paid, but you need to get the greasible shackles and such. You also need to get a new set of front bushings. You also need the exhaut hanger.

I ordered it with the 881's, and firm shocks all around. I was told on the phone that all necessary hardware, like the exhaust bracket was included. I also ordered a new bushing kit, but I've heard that the greasable shackles aren't a necessity, so I am going to wait and add that later. (taken quite a hit to the wallet already after i buy tires...)

Did you get the kit yet? and if so, did you install it (or have it installed)? what's the verdict?

Also, do you know if they had the 882's? i have a TJM bar on the front (of a V6) and was looking for the stiffest ones around.

Be careful with the "too good to be true" deasl. While some pan out, I have heard of some dealers using the old pricing (or incredible discounted pricing) and using the Malaysian Dakar (OME second tier) springs.

Before anyone gets up in arms, I am not trying to crap on anyone's deal. I sincerely hope everything works out as advertised. I am just reminding that you need to be on your toes...

Well as of today (Tuesday morning) they aren't here yet, which is no surprise, its only been a few days. UPS.com says if they shipped UPS on friday they will get here today, so we'll see. Then I plan on doing the install saturday.
I don't know if they have the 882's, when I ordered he asked if i wanted the 880's or 881's, didnt mention the 882's. He did say they had plenty in stock though, so i wouldn't be surprised if they got 'em.
From what I hear looks like OK is a reputable spot. Thanks for the input

Well, keep us (or at least me) updated as to how it turns out. I'm thinking of getting the OME full kit, and it seems cheaper than Wheeler's ($1070 for the full - but includes U-bolts, greasable shackles & longer rear brake lines).

i'm in RI and shipping would be cheaper than from Oregon as well.

good luck w/ the install.

Well quick update -
I first posted that I had received my order without leaf springs. just found them outside in the bush next to my door....phew :) i was freaking out about that.

So 6 days after order I have everything here....although I did notice that I received the soft shocks rather than the firm ones i had ordered. But the more I think about it, I think i'm going to go with those anyways.

Install is saturday assuming no snow....
