Just thought I'd add my experience doing this today. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get a 1/8" thread into the diff. I spent a good 2 hours at least to no avail. Ended up pulling the cap off the end of the stock breather and jamming a hose over it. I'll probably revisit it later if I can find a proper fitting.
Front Diff Breather Mod
I am doing the breather valve mod in the front of my 4Runner. I was wondering if the heat would melt the lines or not.
