Paul, the heat shouldn't be an issue. I used quick disconnect fittings with the lines Home Depot sells for refrigerator icemakers (hard opaque plastic) ending at another quick disco into the airbox. I actually ran all my breathers to there, You'll be fine...PaulW said:

I am doing the breather valve mod in the front of my 4Runner. I was wondering if the heat would melt the lines or not.
