I have a 99 that is on the stock suspension. the truck has developed a clicking / thumping sound coming from the passenger side wheel well area when at a stop or very slow speed. It only happens when the wheel is turned pretty sharply. happens either while turning or straightening the wheels out. If I come to a stop, I can turn the wheel all the way and hear the noise and feel a slight bump in the steering wheel. If I wiggle the steering wheel back and forth a few times near full turn, it will make the noise a few times, then quit. Any ideas?

Here is the list of probable causes; lower ball joint, steering tierod, or the cv shaft is bad. You need to jack the front of the truck up and get under there to locate the worn part, it can become a safety issue if not already.
