Is there a bracket to mount a front plate on the 05-07 tacomas or does
the plate bolt directly to the bumper cover?

Probably screws into the bumper cover. 10 mm self-tapping screw.

I just found this bracket and it is really nice... It is multi adjustable... And adaptable to tons of different applications and surfaces to mount it to... Hell it could even be hose clamped to a tube bumper... It was at Pep Boys... $14. I think...

Can't go without a front plate here because the validation sticker is required on the front for trucks. Stupid government!

Bolts directly to the bumper. Crap ass design IMO. I don't run a front plate.

How about for a 99? My firehouse plate I had just screwed to the bumper and the carwash bent it all up? Is there a bracket for the 99 bumper?
