Considering they're made to order, I think that's a fair price. Otherwise, it wouldn't even be worth doing, and we wouldn't even have the option. Of course, I got a deal (50 bucks) on mine by buying it used from TiTRD!! Bed Bars cost almost $300 new, and those are just a bent tube on angle iron, and more common too.

If you can make 'em for 5 bucks, then maybe you could fab more and sell em for $50 then.

those are great looking but I just don't see how he justifies that price. Steel hasn't gone up that much and it would take a half hr to weld them up.

Maybe he oughto make a bunch all at one time, rather than "made to order". It would be much more efficient, then he could market them on these boards and sell them for alot less. As more and more of these are seen on other Tacos, then demand may increase, and he could continue to sell them at a lower cost. But if he continues to make them to order, then the inefficiency will translate to the end-user price.

good point. Still, even "made to order" his price is too high, IMO.

wow, $150 is way too much to pay for that. i'll stick with my hook in the front. maybe the 4Runner guys are more willing to spend that kind of cash, since most of his stuff seems to be geared toward them
