what gauge wire should i use to bridge this.
thanks
As big as you can, 10 is probably the biggest you could go. I used 12, just something bigger that 18 Id say. The spade end of the connectors are all the same size for all the guages of wire except maybe the extreme big or small ones so use the biggest you want.

My CB is pluged in to one of my outlets. Does it hurt anything to leave it pluged in if the radio is off or will I have to keep it unpluged until I want to use it? Thanks, Mike

Hey, I'm going on vacation around Utah for a week. I'll be staying in hotels, but touring some of the parks. I don't think I will spend more than a couple hours when hopping around the different parts of each park. I bought one of those thermoelectric coolers for our drinks and food on the trip and was wondering if leaving it on in the truck with this mod will drain the battery (if left on for 2 hours max for instance).

Here is the cooler:

Thanks for any replies,

I would be very careful with it. The thermoelectrics draw a lot of amps. I have one of those little jump start packs that I keep in my truck. That might be a great $30 investment for you to have just in case. You should be fine if you are going to be starting the truck often as you stated. Just keep an eye on it.

hehe, I think you just convinced me to skip that idea. I'm pretty sure it would draw too much due to the current. What I may do is use the Jump Start Pack that I have instead. It has an area for a plug so that may be all I need.

Thanks!

Does anybody know where this relay is located on the '97 Taco? The fuse box on my 97 indicates it's for the "HEATER", not the "PWR OUTLET". I can't find any relay that indicates pwr outlet in the fuse box.
