Did it sunday
works perfectly but now I have to remember to turn thing s off that are plugged in
Thanks
I've always wanted to do that
I went one step further, and added a switch in the circuit. I can use that to turn the mod on or off.
My issue is that I have two or three GPS units I use regularly, and its a pain to turn them on and off, and reset the GOTO's anytime I have to leave the truck off for short periods of time.
But, then again, i have a radar detector and other stuff plugged in, and rather than turning everything off when I leave the truck, I can just switch the all-time power mod off with the one additional switch.
I found a nice flush mount, rocker with an LED at Radio Shack that i mounted in my empty clock face. (Jeez, the damn clocks are EXPENSIVE!...

)
I figure the LED will help me remember to turn it off, and if i dont use it alot, will help remember WHICH WAY is on or off...
Heres a couple pics of it:
