I have a flex-a-lite dual electric fan installed. From the manufacturer it is 19 amps and wired such that both fans splice their wiring into one, to one 25 amp fuse.
I'd like to independently wire each fan with a separate fuse for redundancy. Question is would each circuit now be 9.5 amps?
Thanks

If one fan runs at a higer speed then it should pulll a little more current.
Remember that the real purpose for a fuse it to keep the wiring from getting too hot and burning down your truck when the fan fails or shorts out.
You should fuse the circuit to the wire size but you should size the wire for the load it's supplying.
Always put fuses as close to the current supply as you can, that way if the wire shorts out somewhere along it's run, you're protected.
