Hey guys!

Any cheap fixes to a sticking gas pedal? I am guessing that it is just carbon buildup, but the truck (01 2.7) only has about 62k miles on it. The dealer of coarse wants to clean in out for more than $100... Any gas additives out there that work?

Thanks fellas.

Very quick bump for this one! :)

I have a 99 2.7, and I've pulled the rubber intake boot and cleaned around the intake 3 or 4 times already. This lessens the problem, but never gets the pedal action as smooth as I'd like. I also tried lightly lubing the throttle cable, thinking that intake flap wasn't the complete source of the problem.

Have you cleaned your TB? Could be caked in junk causing it to stick a bit. Ultra simple, should be a write up here.
