Yes, did it couple of weeks ago. Got 01 or 02 cluster from a member here and put it in a 2K. Had to take it apart again and put the module from the original cluster in to get some of the idiot lights to work. I believe it was from a Prerunner V6 standard transmission and I put it in my 2K TRD V-6 4x4 auto. Everything works on it and I like the amber a whole lot better than the nightvision green. I've heard there are issues if its for a different engine than what you have, say its from a 6 cylinder and you put in a 4 and the tach will be off.
I've read there is a resistor that changes what the tach reads. Does anyone know where and what the values are for this resistor in the cluster? The reason i'm asking, there are so many V6 tachs for sale but it seems the 4 cylinder ones are hard to come by, and thats what i need.
