Time for new leafs in the rear. The cap and my tool boxes in the bed are killing my stock springs and my PC add a leafs. So I am getting either 9 leaf deavers or all pros 3in kit. I have 2.5in of lift now what do I need to get before I do the new springs? I’m guessing all new bolts and stuff? I have a 96 with 125k on it so every thing has been under there along time. And will the BPV extension I have now be ok or do I need a longer one?

It sounds like you will be fine. BPV should be okay if you already have it moved.

Yea, definately get new bolts and bushings, it will make it much easier. the bolts may be seized on the metal sleeves in the bushing, in which case you will have to cut them off and/or melt the bushings to remove them, The BPV should be fine

It would be a good idea to begin soaking the bolts in wd40 or some penetrating oil so that things are a bit easier to undo when it comes time. Start maybe a week before. You'll be looking to soak the front bolt, ubolts, and shackle bolts. Tip for install: one side at a time! unless you have a lift.
