Those fisrt-gen MTRs I had did great at less than half tread in the snow; surprised a bunch of Jeep fags at Eagle Rock when their built locked D60'd on 39s couldn't get past that uphill right turn... d-bags.
And your kid said "your tires are bald"... well, your dad's $45k rig doesn't go as far as my $2k rig! Suck it!
I have had tons of offers to buy them since I just picked up some tsl's for dirt cheap . But I'm not getting rid of them until they are bald. And that seems to take a very long time on them . I've had them on my rig since early 2010 and they still have tons of life left (some rock rash) .
In the snow they did amazing !! For a lifted pickup truck . The ass end is light so I would drift my neiborhood for fun and then when it was serious I'd lock the hubs and not have any issues
Going with OME from Toytech. for my 07 Taco DC
Hello everyone, been lurking on the site for a while and after camping this last 4th of July have decided to get a lift for the truck. I was sagging real good and was bottoming out with the camping gear. After a lot of reading and searching...
Can anyone please recommend an affordable shop in the Denver area that will install a lift kit for '08 4Runner? I checked with Slee and they estimated $1400 for a 3" suspension upgrade which seems a little steep.
