Hey Guys,

So I am looking into getting my first GPS ever and wanted to see what you guys think of the Nuvi 2460 model.

I mostly want to use a GPS for offroad use. I like being able to give coordinates to friends as well as "mark" cool places I find exploring so you can go back. Also I want to track the distances and trails I takes and be able to save them into the GPS for future reference.

The reason I am asking about this specific model is that its available at costco and I have a costco gift card that will basically cover it. But if there are better GPS's out there for this let me know.

Thanks for the input

looks like a 'street' unit.
I don't see a review for that specific unit but you can email these guys with questions

For what you want I do not believe that unit will work.
