Hey yall. I'm going to be getting new shocks in the near future. I hate the stiff ride of my double cab and i have 2 questions.
1: what is a good SOFT shock to go with. I don't wheel so there is no need for firm suspension. I do drive 30 miles a day though.
2: if i get a soft shock, will that cause my coils to compress over time?
I ask because it seems that if you took some of the support from the coils they would be subject to more stress and sag over time. Am i correct in this assumption?
As always, thanks for the info

If you have a high set of coils, they will last longer. and as far as the shock valving goes, i suppose that it could effect the spring. the more the wheel cycles travel, the more abuse that spring is getting. so if you don't want to damage your spring...then put rebar in place of your shock (IM KIDDING!)

Answer #1. Probobly like a monroe sensetrac or something else you could get at any local auto parts store. Or if you want to drop some more coin get a set of bilstein O.E. Preformance shocks.

Answer #2.....yes
