My owners manual says to use lithium base chassis grease NLGI no. 2 for spiders, and Molbdenum-disulfide lithium base chassis grease NLGI no. 2 for the slide yoke and double cardan joint.

Would it really be bad if I just used one type of lithium base grease for all of the zerks?

The trick is to just keep it greased regularly with a good tube of grease.

No it won`t hurt to use just one kind.

What is regularly? If my dealer does that every 5,000 miles when they change the oil, is that enough?

Every oil change is adequate for greasing the drive shaft.

I use Mobil 1 grease every 5,000 miles when i change the oil.
