Has anybody wraped there headers with exhaust wrap. I am looking at this
http://store.summitracing.com/partd...923429+4294923290+4294918557+115&autoview=sku

good/bad results?

I wraped my old Downey Chrome headers with that stuff and never saw any rust, the key for me was to saturate the wrap with this stuff
http://www.paradiseracing.com/dei_exhaust.htm

(bottom of the page in this link)

that way no water or dirt can get under the wrap to rust out.

But i went with the Ceramic coat on my new ones

I never had problems with header wrap on my headers. I had them on tubular headers, not the stock cast headers. It quieted down the noise in the engine bay as well as lowered the underhood temps.

That vehicle got stolen before I could tell if the header wrap did any long term damage.
