Coming home tonight with the headlights on, I went to turn left. Flipped the turn signal and the light came on, but didn't blink.

Got home and checked things out. I've got an '02 4x4 DoubleCab.

With headlights on, and turn signal set for "left" - light on dashboard and turn signal comes on, but doesn't flash. If set to "right", everything flashes correctly. If I try the emergency flasher - lights come one, but don't flash.

With headlights off, "left", "right" and emergency dashboard lights and signals work correctly.

Any suggestions? I'd hoped to drive it this weekend. TIA!

ps. my first post here, but had been a member on the delphi forums.

"fixed" it

Found a similar message thread on 4x4wire.com's T-100 forums.

Suggested there could be moisture in the trailer harness. Disconnected it today and the turn signals work again.

Tried cleaning some of the contacts - don't know exactly where the problem is - but I'm going to leave the harness disconnected for awhile. At least I have turn signals at night.

do you have a trailer light harness (hoppy?) too? I took off the housings for the rear lights - and disconnected the harness & reconnected the original connections. everything worked okay under all circumstances.

sorry, no additional info and i can't tinker with it for another month or so.

any more info/luck? I'm having the same troubles w/ my 99 Tacoma
I don't tow anything, but have it wired for towing just in case. In winter months, I keep my Warn receiver shackle mounted. We make frequent trips to Canada - never know when we might need a recovery point.
