I have gotten hold of an old WWII jeep trailer which would be great for an off-road trailer, nice high clearance.

The thing is the tires are 35 years old, flat, and cracked. The big problem is they are 600-16 size tires :(

Does any one know of where I can get tires that size?

My only other option is new wheels that match up to the old bolt pattern and axle. Short of that a new axle!

Yea I did that, but all the tires I have found are the non off-road jeep stuff. All white walls and such.

actually Rich the 600 is a spec tire, I just had this discussion with Troy on the national board about spec tire designations ... this one was specifically requested by the military!

David there are a number of places that can get the tires for you. Coker specializes in classic style and odd sizes tires, they will have black wall off road pattern tires that are what you are looking for!

Plus if you want to swap axles it is fairly cheap to do so!

most Farm supply retail stores have trailer axles in stock...

Hey Higgins, is there anything you do not claim to know?
