just wondering what others have done as far as what size hilift to get.. I just put sliders on so thought it would be good to get a jack. My trucks not to tall?but didnt know if the 60 is to tall or overkill? Or if the 48 is the way to go. Storage may be an issue. Can mount 48 in cargo area or drill holes in factory rack cross bars to fit either??
Any feed back would be great, thanks

i carry a 48 cause it fits on my roll bar, the purpose of a highlift is to get the tires off the ground and a 48 is just long enough to do that. i also learned that wrapping a strap around the axel and frame make this a feesable option to carring the 60

I always suggest a 60". There's been far too many times I've used the top 10" or so to hi-lift mine or others trucks. Mind you this is usually in the big rocks after somebody is high centered and the bumper is a ways up in the air to begin with.

It can be a minor PITA to mount/carry, but worth it. If you remove the top thingy it will fit cross wise in a taco bed.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like there are a few horror stories with hilifts?
