He is looking for a local place to have front and rear coilover suspension (Donahoe's?) installed on an FJ Cruiser. We really could not help him very much over at the fjcruiser forums. I'm up for trying to help him out on the install but this will be my first.
Have to start somewhere-
I know there is an FJ FSM floating around - Start doing some homework to find out what is involved.
Prior to Tacoma - I never had any experience with "hard core" wrenching.
Now I've got Front & rear suspensions, Timing Belt changes, Gear work under my belt.
- Plus I just don't trust any shops to touch my truck.
If you are gonna wheel it- You'll need to learn how to fix it.
Coilovers are basically R & R - THere is more sweat involved with spacer lifts.
